Pol-Ski Code Of Conduct

Pol-Ski Ski Club is a family club lodge and is operated on community living principles and dorm style accommodation. 

 

All Members, Associate Members and Visitors must abide by this code of conduct whilst at the lodge. 

 

The Duty Member has the full support of the Committee to enforce this code of conduct. Any person not abiding by the Code of Conduct may be asked to leave, and forfeit any accommodation amounts of money paid. 

 

For the purpose of this document the terms are defined as:

  • Member refers to Pol-Ski Members or Family Members.

  • An Associate Member is a person that has paid to stay at the lodge.

  • A Visitor is any other person visiting the lodge.

Respect & Consideration

 

Everybody must have regard for the lodge and its facilities.

Respect other members and guests also staying in the lodge (this also includes language and intoxication).

Do not attend the lodge if you or a member of your family group are unwell. 

Have respect for people sleeping when entering or leaving the lodge, particularly in the evenings.

No members or visitors are permitted in bedrooms or bathrooms other than their own.

Use headphones if you are using your computer or phone with sound.

Keep noise to an absolute minimum in the bedroom area at all times.

Food and drinks are not to be consumed below the first level.

Bedrooms and bathrooms are to be kept tidy during your stay.

Entry and Drying room to be kept clean and tidy (and luggage not  to be left for extended periods of time in the entry).

Verbal or physical violence will not be tolerated.

Visitors

Members & Associate Members are responsible for any visitors they have invited to the lodge.

All visitors must abide by the code of conduct. 

Any visitor to the lodge must be accompanied by a Member or Associate Member at all times. 

Visitors are not allowed in the Bedroom level.

Visitors must leave the lodge by 11 PM.

 

Child Safety

 

Protecting children is everybody’s business. If you suspect a child or young person is at risk of harm, abuse or neglect you can contact the police on the numbers below.

If you need to report a crime contact your local police on 131 444 or call Crimestoppers.

For the safety of your children, please ensure that you have appropriate adult supervision at all times. 

Don’t allow children to play outside below the lodge drip line. 

Encourage children to play quietly while in the lounge area, games room and dining area. 

Please ensure children don't enter other people’s bedrooms or bathrooms. 

 

Cooking

 

Ensure that all cooking utensils are cleaned and put away as soon as practicable after use.


Lodge Duties

 

Discuss completion of duties with other people sharing your bedroom.

Complete your lodge duties before departure. These are noted on the back of your door, and upstairs. 

 

Smoking

 

Smoking or vaping is not permitted within the lodge, or on the back balcony.

Smoking is permitted on the front balcony, on the condition adjacent doors and windows are closed and cigarette butts are disposed of appropriately.
